Integrated case assessment

Do not stop at treating the symptom… understand what lies behind it

A focused consultation with Dr. Mahmoud Halima to understand your medical story as a whole, review previous laboratory results, imaging and medications, and explore the possible causes and factors that may be sustaining your symptoms.

After your case is reviewed, the findings are explained in clear language, the next steps and an appropriate plan are outlined, and your response is followed during the agreed period.

When a quick answer is not enough

Are you treating symptoms… only for them to return?

The journey may begin with a diagnosis such as diabetes, high blood pressure, a thyroid disorder, obesity, inflammation or chronic fatigue. Treatment begins, but the response is not as expected, so medication is adjusted or another medicine is added.

See the complete picture

Bring the medical story, results, medications and previous responses into one context.

Connect the symptoms

Look for patterns and possible relationships instead of treating each symptom in isolation.

Set clear priorities

Distinguish what needs attention first from what can be followed within a structured plan.

Explore possible factors

Identify questions that require exclusion or further testing before the next decision.

A clear six-stage journey

How does the consultation work?

Your journey begins before the appointment and continues after the call, so information is reviewed first and decisions and follow-up are organized clearly.

Book and submit your information

Complete a secure form and send available reports, imaging and laboratory results before the appointment.

What will you send?

After selecting the booking button, you complete a secure form covering:

  • Your reason for requesting the consultation.
  • Current symptoms and when they began.
  • Previous diagnoses.
  • Current medications and supplements.
  • Allergies or previous adverse effects.
  • Names of previous laboratory tests and examinations.
  • Available reports, medical imaging and laboratory results.
Book and submit your file

Listen to the medical story

An audio or video call to discuss your condition and symptom timeline in depth.

Stage details

The call is not limited to the current symptom. It covers the sequence in which symptoms appeared, changes over time, treatments already tried, and the response to each one.

Additional details may be completed through secure messaging when further information or files are needed.

Review tests and imaging

Explain available findings and relate them to your symptoms in plain language.

What is reviewed?
  • Blood and hormone tests.
  • Inflammation and immune markers.
  • X-ray, ultrasound or MRI imaging.
  • Reports from previous clinicians.
  • Medication and supplement list.
  • Results of earlier examinations.

The meaning of the findings and their relationship to symptoms are explained, distinguishing what matters now from what may need further follow-up.

Identify additional tests

Request laboratory tests, imaging or an in-person assessment only when indicated.

How is the decision made?

The current information may be enough for an initial assessment, or additional tests, imaging or an in-person assessment may be needed. Tests are not requested at random; they are guided by questions that emerge during case review.

Some cases may require a direct physical examination or referral to a local clinician or hospital and cannot be assessed remotely alone.

Explain the plan

Prioritize findings and explain next steps, recommendations and monitoring.

What does the plan cover?
  • What emerged from case review and the possible causes or contributing factors.
  • What needs follow-up or exclusion and how priorities are ordered.
  • Suggested lifestyle changes.
  • A treatment plan or medical recommendations when permitted by the provider's scope and licence.
  • How treatment is used and the response monitored when applicable.

No current treatment is changed or stopped before the medication history is reviewed and the decision is confirmed to be safe. Coordination with the treating clinician or pharmacist may be required.

Follow up during the care period

Assess improvement, adverse effects and new results to determine the next step.

How does follow-up work?

The consultation does not end when the call finishes. During the agreed period, you share updates on symptom progression, improvement or lack of improvement, adverse effects, new results, changes in weight, sleep or energy, and observations related to the plan.

Based on those updates, the appropriate next step may be to continue, adjust, request an additional assessment, or stop part of the plan when necessary, safe and within professional scope.
